Sun Jizong, also known as Heima (famed for his horse paintings), was born in 1957 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.
In 2007, he moved to Shenzhen to focus on oil painting. Many of his works are collected by art enthusiasts both in China and abroad. His painting “Sunshine Ili Sheep Sounds” won the Bronze Award at the 2010 “National Hundred Flowers (Chinese Ethnic Art Works Exhibition) Award”. “Flowers in the Sun” was selected for the 6th Chinese Western Land Love Art Works Exhibition, and “General Ye Ting in 1941” received the Excellence Award at the “Century Wind and Cloud – Guangdong Modern and Contemporary Major Historical Themes Art Exhibition”.
