Chang serves as the Vice Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Oil Painting Art Committee and is an active executive director of the Heilongjiang Oil Painting Society. His commitment to the arts is further demonstrated through his role as a distinguished researcher at the Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Painting.

In DaFen Village, known for its vibrant artist community, Chang Bo stands out as the Vice Chairman of the DaFen Artists Association.
